One of the Biggest problem that the movie and music industry is facing at present is that of Piracy. I am not talking about the movies and the music that are suffering piracy. NO!! I am talking about the piracy that is being made famous by our so called music directors and movie producers. The one who steal the music from others album or better yet, from the foreign artists, the one for which our Tollywood and bollywood music directors are known for.
Where is the originality, the soul that has been in the industry in from the ages. Just because the generation listens to western music a lot, doesn't mean that the music professionals steal the music from other artists. The tollywood music, which is known for its melody n music is being affected a lot, from the recent incidents. Even our melody brahma, Mani sharma, didn't back out in this race. No doubt that he is one of the most talented and versatile music directors that we have, but this doesn't suit him (The title song from kantri is copied from an album of 50 Cent). Even devuda song from pokiri has been copied from one of Ricky martin's album. This might hurt some of his fans but kindly go to youtube to see for your self. To my surprise, even the music director of Chatrapathi, M M Keeravani, the person who composed music for legendry movies like annamayya, copied the chatrapti theme from a german theme song.
I am not try trying point out only the mistakes in the industry but if this trend continues, then i really don't know wat will be the future like. Same is the case with bollywood. Pritam, Anu malik n most of the music directors have been bitten by this horrible bug called copying or Piracy (better known word).
I have written this blog just to give a hint on what the industry is portraying. They want the people to stop purchasing pirated CDs, so that they can make this sort of things? This is definitely not justified. Kindly forgive me if i had insulted any of your feelings but this is the fact that i know, so i have decided to shed some light on it.
Any comments or replies will be whole heartedly appreciated.
